TorrentIt (originally known as 123torrents) was a highly popular private torrent tracker back in the mid 2000s. The site however had to shut down its operations in 2006 due to legal pressure from BREIN. Then in September 2008, after over two years since the closure, TorrentIt came back online. Since then the site has been gradually increasing its user base and expanding its torrent index; good news is that it’s currently open for signups.

The reincarnated version of TiT runs on the shiny new Gazelle codebase - you can expect all the enhancements found in most Gazelle based trackers including the fast user interface, knowledgebase, tagging, improved search and so on. In addition, the site has managed to recruit over 4000 members and add over 1500 torrents to its index in the past three months alone. In case we forgot to mention in before, TorrentIt is a general tracker which tracks both scene and non scene releases. They also have a great packs section which currently indexes over 350 unique torrent collections.

One thing I noticed in TiT packs section was that they had a lot of Siterips, mostly of adult sites. There were some good movie and wallpaper packs as well. A small number of these packs unfortunately had no seeders.

As mentioned earlier TorrentIt is currently open for signup. This tracker has only been open for around 2-3 days in the last three-four months so grab this opportunity if you want to get in. We don’t know till when the open signup will continue so better register ASAP.

Bitsoup.org has been opening and closing today. Look's like they're pruning accnts. 110k users max.

Check and you might get lucky.

Re: MovieX - they updated their site with some rather interesting info. Hope they get everything straightened out.
