Free PreToMe Registration Key – April 2009

Pretome (PTM) sure is a popular private tracker. It’s been only 1-2 days since our previous exclusive PTM key expired and the E-mail inbox is already getting flooded with requests for a new one. As usual, Pretome administrators have not let us down – they’ve agreed to provide yet another free registration key exclusive to FILEnetworks Blog. This key will be valid for one month and an unlimited number of users will be able to signup with it during the validity period - no strings attached.

As you may already know, PreToMe is a large General/0Day torrent tracker with 29000+ registered members and over 22000 active torrents. A valid but often overlooked fact is that PTM is technically a ratio free tracker - there is no global download:upload ratio on the site. You however do need to seed each downloaded torrent for 60 hours or to a ratio of 0.75 (only one of these requirements has to be met, not both). Speaking of new updates, the whole PTM site is now on forced SSL ensuring added security. You might want to read the news update on the homepage since it contains some useful information regarding SSL.

    Thanks a bunch! Code worked like a charm. Had to wait for confirmation e-mail for 15 minutes and yahoo placed it in my spam folder. Make sure you check all your folders for the confirmation e-mail ;-)

    so once you share for 60 hours, your good? but what if you ddownload like 500GB but you still share like 60 minimum hours required but your upload is not so much? what happens then?

    Size of the download doesnt matter. The requirement is to seed to a 1:1 ratio OR 60 hours.

    Doesn't work, tried it multiple times via direct link and then typed in pretome url and still didn't work.

    I agree with Tom this key doesnt work... no key I can find works and ive tried somewhere in the region of 25-30 keys... this is getting really frustrating is pretome even that good? they make us run round making registration difficult to people who know nothing about them except that they need to get a "key" if the registration is open it should just allow you to register and not look around the internet for a f*cking key :@

    I'm afraid PreToMe has gone invite only for a while now - look out for a
    possible open period some time later this year though, we'll send you a key if
    it happens. ;)"

    I was a Pretome user for nearly a year. Last month, I had to move to a new house and didn't have internet access for over a month and got kicked due to inactivity.     Ok. Straight from the PreToMe folks on their irc help channel... I mentioned that I used to be a member and wondered when they would have a Registration Key for FILEnetworks Blog and they said "NEVER!!". I asked that since I had almost a 2:1 ratio, would they be willing to give me a key and they said that they no longer issue keys to just anybody (apparently it didn't matter that I had a 2:1 ratio and seeded Adobe CS4 suite for nearly 2 months as well as other torrents). The help team explained to me that anyone who is going to join PreToMe HAS to be invited by a member of PreToMe. So, unless you know a member directly... you are pretty much screwed. I am screwed because I don't know how to contact the people I used to chat with on PreToMe, because I didn't bother writing down their email address. I guess all of us that wish to be members or were LOYAL members have no chance of it anytime except for open registration (that I just recently missed the weekend of Independence Day). This is upsetting. I was a good contributor to the site. I wish that I could get back on there and start back. OH... they also told me that I should have used the "Park Account" option in my control panel. I didn't even know that it existed. So anyone that is going to be away from PreToMe for more than 1 month needs to remember to use that option. I hope that this helps and maybe now this posting thread can be retired.     Pretome sucks ass. They have an ignorant "hit and run system" that can/will disable your downloads if you leech 3mb of stuff if that 3mb is stretched over 7 files. They also ban accounts if they "suspect" just about anything they don't like. I was on for over a year and I got banned for not seeding a file in high demand because my I-net went out. better off with ilovetorrents.com
